Terror Crew 2025

Welcome to the Terror Crew! There is a ton of information here and we will be always going over this stuff but just wanted to give it to you ahead of time. We are here to #1 be the best, #2 take care of you and #3 to have fun!

Applications

Everyone must have an application submitted so we can get you in the system and it gives us information about your availability. If you are not sure if you have one submitted please just ask. If you were not able to make the Actor Meetup, please text Brittani (at the number below) so we can get everything set.

Flyer Distribution Contest

Crew members, we have flyers ready for distribution! Please read the following instructions carefully:

  1. Personalized Coupon Codes: Each crew member has been assigned a unique coupon code (PIN number). You’ll need to write your coupon code on the sticker provided that is attached to each flyer.

  2. Distributing Flyers:

    • You can pass these flyers directly to potential customers or distribute them to businesses that allow us to advertise in their stores.

    • Alternatively, we have table toppers for you if a business has agreed to let you put it at the register.

  3. Posters:
    • We have very limited posters but if you know of places that will allow you to put up a 11″x17″ poster let us know.
  4. Tracking Success:

    • We will track the use of each coupon code. At the end of the season, the crew member with the most customers using their code will receive a BONUS!

  5. Need More Flyers or Stands? If you run out of flyers or table topper stands, simply text Brittani at our Actor Support Phone at 405-371-6543.

Let’s get those flyers out there and bring in the crowds!

How we communicate

  • Actor Support Text Message
    • 405-371-6543 – If you are running late, can’t make it or have a question for Brittani this is a dedicated Actor Support number for you to save. Please text DO NOT CALL!
  • Facebook
    • We hope everyone has Facebook and there are two main groups where we all communicate.
      • Terror Crew Announcements – You might be able to click on https://www.facebook.com/groups/wickedterrorcrewannouncements/ or search Facebook for “Terror Crew Announcements (STAFF ONLY)“. Please request to join and we will get you approved. Brad is the only one that can make posts onto this page so please make sure to get notified of any posts. If there is anything important (weather etc) this is where it will be posted.

Please request to join and we will get you approved. One thing that we love is everyone getting together and communicating. This is a group that anyone can post in and while we hope you join and interact with everyone, it is something 100% up to you.
      • Don’t Facebook? – Please let Brittani know and we will do our best to try and communicate with you.

    Day Of Staff Information

    1. What to wear – Unless instructed by Brittani, just come in all black. This makes it easier to move you around and DO NOT wear open toe shoes. You need comfy tennis shoes
    2. Arrival Time – We ask everyone to start arriving at 5:30 PM. We fully understand that not everyone can get here at that time but we have a ton of people to get dressed and in makeup so its helpful to have people there early.
    3. Parking – When you arrive please drive down the yellow line (map below) and park in the staff parking. Please do not block the road, it is hard to see but make sure we have a path. If you arrive late there might be something blocking the road. You will need to get out and move it and then move it back as this keeps customers from driving back in there. NOBODY needs to drive into the compound unless Brad says its ok. We need plenty of room to be able to move around without vehicles blocking it.
    4. Box Office Check-In – Please go to the Box Office and let them know your PIN & Name so they can mark you as being here. If you don’t check in at the Box Office then you will not be paid. After you check-in follow the green path to get into the compound.
    5. Actor Check-In – After you check in with the Box Office please find Brittani by the costume trailer. Let her know you are here and she will let you know where you will be placed. Having 75+ actors checking in all around the same time and placing them is very stressful and you might not get placed where you were hoping. Please just trust us that sometimes we see potential in you and want to try something, she might be trying out different things to see what works or we might just really need your help in a scene. We ask that you just try it out and once everyone gets placed and she has some free time you can speak to her about a potential change on another night. If you ask anyone else about potential change they will ask for you to speak with Brittani.
    6. Makeup – If you are told to get Makeup then you hangout outside one of the makeup trailers until someone comes and gets you, please don’t walk into the makeup trailer unless you are called and getting the makeup on. They might ask you some questions or they might just go to town on you. While we would love to have your input on ways to do your makeup if you have a picture show it to them but please understand that it might not happen. Sometimes we want to try certain things and especially on opening night to get the feeling. Trust them, we have some pro’s but please stay off your cell phone while they are getting you ready. Just like costumes, they have a ton of people that need to get through in a very short time so please be patient with them. Ronnie will be your main contact with anything makeup.
    7. Hangout in Compound – After you are all ready to go we ask that you hang out in the compound and don’t wonder off, walk the trail or go where the customers can see you. Get to know other people around if you see someone new or you are new. We are like a big family and excited you are apart of it
    8. All Staff Meeting – Before everyone goes out we will have a meeting with everyone. Sometimes we will give you a heads up but sometimes it is last second. One thing to keep in mind is as soon as it gets dark is when we are trying to get open. So at the start of our season we try and have the meeting around 7:30 PM so we can be in scene at 8:00 PM but towards the end of October we will be trying to have our meeting around 7:00 PM.
    9. End of night – At the end of the night, 99% of the time it will be Brad walking through and telling you we’re are done so don’t listen to anyone else. If Brad is busy or for some reason is not at the haunt then the only two other people that will tell you we are done is Joe or Brittani. We will let you know we are done, ask you to pick up your trash and then proceed to the compound. If you want to follow us through, that is fine but do not walk in front of us. We fully know everyone wants to see what it’s like and we have always pulled actors out and allowed them to walk through at some point in the season. When you get to the compound, please listen to what to do with your costumes when you change and then feel free to go into the makeup trailer to get your makeup off but don’t leave. We always have a recap meeting and once it’s over we will pass out money IN THE COMPOUND. If you DO NOT check in with the box office then we will not have your money in the compound.

    General Rules / Info

    • Flyer’s – This is great to hand out to people or if you know a local place that would let you put them on the counter.
    • FREE TICKETS – Everyone want’s tickets to give out to their friends and family to have them come out and enjoy the haunt and we want you to have them come check it out. At some point this opening weekend we will be handing you some anytime tickets so you can have your friends and family come out. While we would love to give you unlimited tickets we just can’t but we will be looking at other things we might be able to do.
    • Drama / Rumor’s – This is a big thing for us is no Drama. If you have an issue with someone please just wait till after the season or talk with Brittani about it. We are all out there to have fun and want to make a safe place and where everyone feels included which goes along with Rumor’s. It happens every year and with everything in life its best to not join in. If something is concerning you, please take it directly to Brittani which she has been around for a long time and knows a ton and great to talk with. If she doesn’t know how to answer or what the answer is she will find out.
    • Water Bottles – When we dismiss everyone we will ask you to grab some water bottles but don’t worry we will be bringing more around all night. The water bottles need to stay out of site from the customers. At the end of the night we ask that everyone pick up their water bottles and take them to the trash. We will try and have trash cans outside of each scene.
    • Smoking / Vaping / Marijuana – First off if you smoke Marijuana please do not do it in the compound around other actors. While customers are going through the haunt we don’t want anyone smoking while acting. If you need to step out of your scene then do it but please make sure your scene is covered (only one at a time). PLEASE do not put your cigarette butts on the ground or flick them into the trees, we have to clean all of that up. I always put mine in my back pocket and if you don’t have one just use an empty water bottle.
    • Restrooms – We have two in the Compound and 3 outside the trails that is just for the actors. You don’t need to ask if you can go, just make sure your scene is covered and try and get back as soon as possible.
    • Cell Phones – When you get into scene please make sure your cell phones are on vibrate. I know sometimes it can be hard and you think that people might not see you checking your phone but I can assure you that customers can see it and it takes them out of the experience so please refrain.
    • Support Staff – When you see us when you arrive please don’t be discouraged if we don’t say Hi or stay and talk. We are always running around trying to take care of last minute things. This is why it is best for anything related to acting, placement or costumes to speak directly to Brittani or anything with makeup to speak with Ronnie.
    • Own your scene – What we do is a blast and we want you to enjoy it but more importantly own your scene. We will give you suggestions throughout the entire season on things to try but the truth is each of you are the haunt so own it. Work with the actors in your scene and keep adjusting and finding what works the best for you. We have many seasoned actors that you can lean on and get feedback and ideas from.
    • Stay in Character – Some people might come through and be your friends, try and get you to break character but regardless of who it is (even us on support) always stay in character. We especially want to see what you have so pretend we are also paying customers.
    • Actor Radios – In each scene we will be having a two way radio, we will go over this more later but this is only to be used for an emergency as it will be heard all over the entire haunt. We are not having actor leads this year so will just be handing it to someone that has been with Wicked in the past as they know more about the radios and how they are just for emergency. You should always see support or security roaming through the trail that if you need something please ask them and they can radio which is on different channels.
    • Medical – If you have any medical concerns (asthma, diabetics, epilepsy etc) please make sure we are aware of it so we can add it to your application. Our staff needs to have this information so we can better assist you.
    • Safety – Our staff’s safety is our #1 priority. We have a police officer onsite each night along with security. We will be switching up a few things this year that we will go over in our meetings.
